Building rockets for competition
Founded in the second half of 2018 and located in the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina – UFSC, Apex Rocketry is a student group which develops and builds rockets for competitions. The group aims to promote a breakthrough in the aerospace area of the university and participate in various aerospace events, including Cobruf Rockets, Festival Brasileiro de Minifoguetes in Curitiba, and more.

Divided in three major areas: Aerostructures, Electronics and Propulsion, our team is composed of undergraduate students from several courses, who work together on different fields of technical and managerial engineering knowledge.
Our second project, a solid-fuel transonic rocket called BRAVA-A22, was finished recently and we are already working on our next rocket for future competitions.
