The Catarina Constellation encompasses a set of satellites with the goal to provide services, mainly, to the civil defence, contributing to the country’s sustainable socioeconomic development agenda.

Physical structure of space station - mass
According to the CubeSat standard, the maximum mass of each unit must be 2kg. As the CATARINA – A1 is a 2U CubeSat, the maximum allowed mass of the project is
4 kg. Considering the weight of each subsystem presented in Table below, the current total mass of the object is below the maximum allowed, with a margin of 42%.
