FloripaSat-2 CDR Meeting – SpaceLab UFSC

On March 12 and 13, 2020, SpaceLab met with members of the Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA), of the State Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation of Maranhão (SECTI / MA), of the National Institute of Special Research ( INPE) and the Brazilian Space Agency (AEB) in the Critical Design Review (CDR) of the next mission coordinated by the laboratory: FloripaSat-2.

The project is based on FloripaSat-1, CubeSat 1U launched in December 2019, thus the name “FloripaSat-2” was still unofficially designated. The satellite will be a CubeSat 2U in which it is being planned to support a new Payload EDC (Environmental Data Collector) developed by INPE, and with improvements in the main modules of the first FloripaSat mission (EPS, OBDH and TT&C).
